About
Dan Wagner is a self-motivated, versatile professional eager for fresh challenges and collaborating with diverse colleagues.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies & Production with a minor in Spanish at Temple University, Dan shot and edited a series of promotional videos for a tour operator in Switzerland. After returning to the United States, he wrote and edited promotional content for a PBS affiliate in Pennsylvania, often filling in as a crew member for live studio programs.
Once the station came into funding challenges, Dan worked at an advertising agency in Nebraska before quickly returning to his home state to work for the Pennsylvania State University. He conceptualized a brand strategy and developed multimedia materials for a child health and wellness research study that provided guidance to teachers and families about ways to improve healthy eating and behaviors. After two years of producing and testing content, the materials were deployed to hundreds of preschool classrooms in central Pennsylvania.
Dan came into the tech industry as a contractor for SAP with the Broadcast Technologies team. After only one year, he was hired as a full-time position and he relocated to California. He excelled at establishing and providing professional broadcasting and video production services for SAP’s three offices in the Bay Area. Due to his strong project management and interpersonal communication skills, he upskilled as a Scrum Master to foster an Agile environment and facilitate scrum activities for the team’s developers. He is now a Certified Scrum Master.
In June 2024, his position was impacted by a global restructuring that cut 8,000 jobs. He is actively searching for a full-time position in the Bay Area and open to relocating.
